Tree Planting with Year 7

I'm delighted to share a heartwarming tradition that continues to connect our past and present pupils. This week held our annual tree planting ceremony which brought back the class of 2025, now in year 7, to create a lasting memory of their time with us.

This special event allows us to reconnect with our former pupils and hear about their exciting first adventures at High School. We welcomed them back with warmth, sharing cake and squash before heading outside to plant a new tree. This tree joins others planted by previous year groups, creating a beautiful living timeline of our school's history.

It was wonderful to see the children return, sharing memories and new experiences. These moments remind us of the strong bonds we create during a child's time at Wood End Primary and how our connections continue long after they move on to High School.
