House Captains

Our new House Captains
This week, our school has appointed the first leaders to our Pupil Parliament Leadership team. Our Year 6 children demonstrated remarkable maturity and engagement with the democratic process, each delivering speeches during house team meetings followed by a secret vote by the other members of their House Team.
Becoming a House Captain is a prestigious role that carries significant responsibilities throughout the year. These pupils will be instrumental in supporting celebration assemblies, welcoming visitors, designing house competitions, and providing encouragement to their fellow house teams members.
I am delighted to announce our new House Captains for each house:
  • Hallie - Daw Mill (Green)
  • Remi - Kingsbury (Blue)
  • Lexi - Birch Coppice (Yellow)
  • Kai - Baddesley (Red)
This process exemplified the British value of democracy in action, allowing our pupils to experience leadership and collective decision-making firsthand. These newly appointed house captains will play a crucial role in our school community, and I look forward to working closely with them throughout the year.
Congratulations to all our new house captains!
Over the next two weeks we will be appointing the other leadership roles across school to complete our Pupil Parliament.
