Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher

What a wonderful start to the new academic year we've had! I'm delighted to share how successful our recent 'Meet the Teacher' sessions have been across the school. Over the past week, we opened our doors to welcome parents into their child's new classroom environment. It was fantastic to see so many families taking the opportunity to connect with their child's new class teacher and explore the learning spaces where their children will spend their year ahead.

Each teacher took time to share their exciting new class themes, share our new reading records and outline what you can expect as we progress through the coming months. These sessions are so valuable because they help us strengthen those essential partnerships between school and home that make such a difference to your child's learning journey.

I was particularly pleased to hear every teacher emphasising our commitment to supporting parents and the children throughout the year. We genuinely want parents to feel comfortable approaching their child's class teacher whenever any concerns arise - the earlier we can address any issues together, the better the outcomes for everyone involved.
