Our week started with a splash of cheerful yellow around school as we marked World Mental Health Day. We know that looking after our mental health is just as important as our physical health. The health champions led an assembly to give the important message to the rest of the school that their feelings matter. They talked about what to do if your feelings get so big, they are bothering you and encouraged children to think about the people on their network that could help them. We all have feelings but sometimes we need help to deal with those feelings in a safe way and find strategies that help us to feel better. Thank you to all the people who wore yellow on Monday - you helped to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day.
