House Cross Country Competition

16th October 2018
House Team Cross Country Competition

After two false starts, due to poor weather, we have finally completed our first house competition of the year. Children from Reception to Year 6 competed in a cross country challenge. I am proud to say that everyone tried their very best to win points for their team. At the end of each race points were awarded to the children who came in first, second and third place. Well done to all these children, we know who to call upon for the next cross country competition competing against other schools.

At the end of the year the sports trophy will be awarded to the house team who have collected the most points during the year. If a child attends a sporting competition outside of school, 10 points are added to their house team total. The most recent points have been added for children who participated in the football competition, biathlon, cross country and indoor athletics.

By the end of the year we aim to offer a sporting competition to every child in school so keep a look out for the next competition!
